**About the Role**:
As a 3D Animator, you will be responsible for bringing characters, creatures, and interactive assets to life through high-quality animations that enhance gameplay, storytelling, and immersion. You will collaborate closely with designers, artists, and technical teams to create expressive, responsive, and polished animations that align with the game’s artistic vision and mechanics.
We’re looking for a creative and detail-oriented animator who understands motion, timing, and performance, and who thrives in a collaborative game development environment. **About you**:
- You have 3+ years of professional experience as a 3D Animator in the gaming Industry
- You have a strong understanding of animation principles, body mechanics, weight, timing, and acting
- You are proficient in Maya for character and asset animation
- You have experience animating characters, creatures, and props for gameplay and cinematics
- You are familiar with Unreal Engine, including importing animations and working with animation blueprints or state machines
- You have experience working with Version Control Systems (Perforce, Git, etc.)
- You can take feedback constructively and iterate quickly to improve animation quality
**Good to have**:
- Experience animating for real-time gameplay systems
- Knowledge of animation blending, state machines, and locomotion systems
- Experience with facial animation and lip-sync
- Familiarity with motion capture cleanup and integration
- Basic scripting knowledge (Python/MEL) is a plus
