Account Executive Job Description
The Account Executive is a key role in driving the success of client PR campaigns by developing strategic media plans, conducting targeted outreach, and maintaining regular communication with clients and media contacts. This role ensures client visibility across national, regional, podcast, radio, and TV platforms while contributing to broader brand awareness and engagement.
Job Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute customized PR strategies tailored to each client's needs.
* Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, fostering strong relationships and delivering exceptional service.
* Build, grow, and maintain new client relationships through proactive outreach and relationship-building initiatives.
* Conduct thorough research and create targeted media lists to effectively reach desired audiences.
* Secure, filter, and respond to media opportunities, ensuring timely and relevant coverage for clients.
* Schedule and coordinate media interviews, ensuring seamless logistics and successful outcomes.
* Follow up with media contacts to confirm placements and coverage timelines, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
* Monitor coverage through Google Alerts and track mentions or product features, providing valuable insights for clients.
* Collaborate with the team to facilitate writing projects that align with client goals and deliverables.
* Stay up-to-date on news trends and identify timely angles for client exposure, maximizing visibility and credibility.
* Provide daily (Monday–Friday) client updates and maintain consistent communication, ensuring transparency and trust.
* Prepare and send biweekly and monthly reports and lookbooks, showcasing progress and achievements.
* Maintain accurate and updated documentation of all PR activities and client deliverables, ensuring seamless workflow and effective collaboration.
Requirements:
* 40 hours plus per week to meet client needs and deliver exceptional results.
* Proven experience or education in public relations or a related communications field, demonstrating expertise and passion.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages and build strong relationships.
* Strong organizational and time management abilities, with a focus on meeting deadlines and exceeding expectations.
* Proficient in Google Suite, Gmail, and media monitoring tools, leveraging technology to drive efficiency and effectiveness.

Compensation:
The starting compensation for this position is $693/m USD, reflecting the value and importance of this role.
