Procurement Manager – Wind
Full-time position available for a Procurement Manager to support the expanding wind project pipeline in Brazil.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead procurement activities for wind projects in Brazil, ensuring timely and cost-effective supplier engagement.
2. Manage full-cycle procurement responsibilities, including sourcing, negotiation, contracting, and vendor performance management.
3. Oversee procurement for a broad range of categories, including logistics, ports, cranes, transportation, temporary manpower, design companies, and other project-related services.
4. Engage and negotiate with crane, logistics, transport, and port-service providers to support the importation of wind turbines.
5. Develop and manage high-value PTCI (Port, Transport, Crane, Installation) contracts, ensuring supplier capability and compliance.
6. Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders in Project Management, Operations, and Commercial teams to align procurement strategies with project requirements.
7. Ensure procurement activities adhere to internal governance standards and project deadlines.
8. Support the setup of procurement structure and processes as the organisation continues to expand.
Requirements:
* Minimum 5 years of procurement experience in industrial, renewable energy, or infrastructure sectors.
* Strong experience in PTCI (Port, Transport, Crane, Installation) procurement is essential.
* Prior experience in wind project procurement is highly preferred.
* Proven ability to negotiate and manage high-value contracts with logistics, port, transport, and crane suppliers.
* Strong stakeholder management and ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving project environment.
* Professional fluency in English.
* Ability to manage multiple procurement categories, including technical services and manpower.
* Strong ethical standards, commercial acumen, and collaborative working style.
