Role Description
We are looking for a Dropshipping Operations Manager to lead operations in our e-commerce business from the start. This person needs to be hands-on, building processes and executing key activities (product research, copywriting, image editing, publishing on Shopify, and more), with the objective of escalating the company and team in the long run.
The professional will be responsible for ensuring that each step of the dropshipping operation works efficiently, being scalable and sustainable, creating the basis for the business\'s growth.
Main Responsibilities
* Operational e-commerce management: conduct the daily operations of the dropshipping business in Shopify.
* Product research: identify and select high-demand products with great margin potential.
* Copywriting and content: create persuasive descriptions of products to optimise conversion.
* Image editing: treat and adapt supplier pictures to Velora Select\'s branding.
* Publishing and maintenance: register products, configure variants, and ensure that the store is updated and appealing.
* Process creation: document, optimize operational flows (e.g., product registering, customer contact, fulfillment, post-sales).
* Partners and suppliers management: accompany deadlines, quality, and communication of international suppliers.
* Optimization and metrics: accompany sales KPIs, costs, logistics, and conversion, proposing continuous improvements.
* Scalability and leadership: as the business grows, recruiting specialized professionals (e.g., designer, copywriter, media buyer, customer support).
Requirements
* Previous experience with e-commerce or dropshipping.
* Advanced knowledge in Shopify (obligatory).
* Practical ability in copywriting, image editing (Canva, Photoshop, or similar), and product publishing.
* Capability of structuring and optimizing operational processes.
* Analytical profile, organized and oriented to metrics.
* Great communication (Intermediary / Advanced Portuguese and English is a differential to communicate with suppliers).
* Owner spirit: someone who likes to be hands-on, but also thinks about the growth in the long run.
Differentials
* Experience with Facebook Ads / Google Ads for e-commerce.
* Living in startups or projects from scratch.
