**Patent Paralegal Project Manager Role**
This role involves overseeing and managing patent filing requests, ensuring timely delivery of services while maintaining the highest standards. The Patent Paralegal Project Manager will work closely with clients, translators, and internal teams to coordinate various aspects of patent filings.
The successful candidate will have 1-2 years of experience as a patent paralegal in either a law firm or corporate setting. Strong organizational, leadership, and management abilities are essential for this position. Experience working with EP, PCT, and foreign applications is also required.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. A successful track record of collaboration with diverse stakeholders is necessary for success in this role. Proficiency in English (spoken and written) is required, as well as the ability to work within Pacific Standard Time (PST).
* **Key Responsibilities:**
* Prepare all documents required for EP, PCT, and foreign applications.
* Proactively initiate the preparation of responses to official communications and notifications.
* Coordinate filings of EP/international and foreign patent applications and related correspondence from filing to issuance of grant.
* Monitor assigned cases and ensure timely completion of tasks.

**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Experience implementing translation tools into existing workflows.
* Familiarity with CAT tools (memoQ fluency a plus) and various Machine Translation engines.
* Ability to define processes and standards for translation and quality assurance.
* Skill in training internal and external users in MTPE & TM workflows.
* Skill in vendor recruitment and negotiations.
