Senior System Engineer III
We are seeking a proactive problem solver to enhance our Enterprise Monitoring capabilities. As a Senior System Engineer III, you will play a pivotal role in the daily operations, maintenance, and optimization of our observability platforms—Splunk, DynaTrace, and NewRelic.
* Assume responsibility for the daily health, performance, and availability of enterprise monitoring tools (Splunk, DynaTrace, NewRelic).
* Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and configuration tuning to ensure optimal system performance and efficiency.
* Triage and resolve monitoring-related incidents and service tickets in a timely and efficient manner.
* Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and DevOps teams to integrate monitoring solutions and improve visibility and insights.
* Develop and maintain dashboards, alerts, and reports to support operational and business objectives.
* Participate in on-call rotations and support incident response efforts to minimize downtime.
* Document operational procedures, runbooks, and knowledge base articles to facilitate knowledge sharing and reuse.
* Identify and implement automation opportunities to reduce manual effort, improve reliability, and enhance overall system effectiveness.
