Overview
As a Trade Development Manager, you'll drive the Monster brand portfolio to new heights by turbocharging long-term strategic and tactical sales and distribution plans, aligning them with Monster Energy Company objectives.
You will manage distributor and bottler business results within the Coca-Cola Operating Unit region.
Success will be delivered through strong distributor management, field negotiation and market execution, and the ability to build enduring relationships.
Responsibilities
Manage relationships with distributors and customers in the assigned territory.
Execute market strategy in Traditional Trade and Modern Trade.
Maximize sales and distribution of all company products through local and national sales programs.
Train and coach distributor/bottler sales forces to engage with the Monster brand and objectives.
Ensure execution of national and regional account strategies to achieve sales, profit, and market share objectives.
Monitor market/retailer activity to develop cost-effective strategies that drive volume and profitability.
Develop and maximize partnerships to drive improved performance; use objective tools and feedback to set regional performance goals.
Conduct business performance reviews with distributors/bottlers to track, adjust efforts, and achieve outcomes across key segments.
Collaborate with National Sales and Regional Account Management Teams to understand and communicate customer programs and activities.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field (preferably).
1–3 years of experience in sales (additional experience in retail, wholesaler, or distributor sales is desirable).
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.
