Project Manager Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex, cross-functional initiatives in an agile engineering environment. This role requires a strong ability to translate business priorities into actionable plans, drive clarity, and ensure work is delivered with quality and consistency.
The successful candidate will own end-to-end delivery of projects from planning through execution and completion. They will build and manage delivery plans, including scope, timelines, dependencies, risks, and resource coordination. This role also involves partnering closely with engineering teams to manage work intake, backlog grooming, prioritization, and task tracking.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute comprehensive project plans that align with business objectives
* Build strong relationships with stakeholders, including engineering teams and business leaders
* Identify and mitigate risks, resolve blockers, and adjust plans as priorities evolve
* Facilitate working sessions, stand-ups, planning meetings, and stakeholder workshops as needed
* Track and report on project progress using appropriate metrics and tools
Requirements:
* 5+ years of experience leading delivery for complex projects or initiatives
* Strong experience working in agile environments (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, or similar)
* Hands-on experience using Jira for backlog management and delivery tracking
* Proven ability to work effectively with engineering teams and business stakeholders
* Strong communication skills and comfort working in a client-facing role
* Ability to operate in ambiguous environments and bring structure and clarity
* Experience supporting prioritization, change management, and delivery trade-offs
* Basic SQL skills and familiarity with finance or accounting concepts are a plus
