Project & Construction Manager – Food Industry Expansion Project (Belgium & Brazil)

Role Overview

For an international expansion project within the food industry, we are looking for an experienced Project & Construction Manager. The assignment involves scaling up the capacity of an existing production site in Brazil by a factor of three

.You will play a key role in ensuring the project is delivered on time and within budget, with a strong focus on coordinating local subcontractors and supporting the technical execution

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage local subcontractors on-site
• Request, evaluate, and compare supplier quotations
• Support the engineering phase, depending on your expertise, including
• Creating machine layouts
• Preparing I/O lists
• Reviewing power requirements
• Provide hands-on support during the execution phase when necessary
• Ensure smooth collaboration between stakeholders across Belgium and Brazil

Project Timelines

• Start: As soon as possible (no later than January 2027)
• Early involvement in the engineering phase in Belgium is possible
• Once construction begins, you will alternate between Belgium and Brazil

Profile

A proactive, hands-on professional with a strong sense of ownership

Proven experience in project and construction management

Experience in the food industry (mandatory)

Fluency/good in Portuguese (mandatory)

A multidisciplinary technical background (mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, automation, etc.)- You are a generalist, not necessarily a deep technical specialist required
