The role of a Business Analyst is critical in driving business improvements through the effective analysis and design of complex systems.
This position requires an expert who can facilitate requirements analysis and design activities with stakeholders to accurately determine future system requirements. The Business Analyst must ensure that solutions are in alignment with the enterprise architecture blueprint, adhering to standards and policies.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead efforts to elicit future systems requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis.
* Partner with cross-functional teams to elicit functional and non-functional requirements.
* Communicate and collaborate with customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements.
* Takes a broad perspective to identify innovative business solutions that challenges assumptions on how to execute plans.
* Ensure that systems and application designs adhere to standards and reflect the architecture appropriately.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Engineering, Computer Science).
* Job-related experience for 7+ years minimum.
* 5+ years development experience implementing solutions for complex systems supporting business processes.
* Experience leading cross-functional teams and projects to drive business improvements.
* Experience in driving process and technology re-engineering using industry practices (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, Kaizen, COBIT, ITIL, CMMi).
