Job Title:

Account Executive



Description:


The Account Executive plays a pivotal role in the success of client PR campaigns by developing media strategies, conducting targeted outreach, and maintaining regular communication with both clients and media contacts.




Key Responsibilities:




* Develop and execute strategic PR plans tailored to each client's unique needs

* Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, fostering strong relationships built on trust and effective communication

* Build, grow, and create new client relationships through proactive networking and relationship-building efforts

* Conduct thorough media research and build targeted media lists to maximize campaign reach and effectiveness

* Secure, filter, and respond to media opportunities in a timely manner to ensure optimal coverage

* Schedule and coordinate media interviews, ensuring seamless logistics and efficient use of time

* Follow up with media contacts to confirm placements and coverage timelines, ensuring transparency and accountability

* Monitor coverage through Google Alerts and track mentions or product features to measure campaign impact

* Facilitate writing projects with the team in alignment with client goals and deliverables, driving results through collaborative effort

* Stay up-to-date with news trends and identify timely angles for client exposure to stay ahead of the competition

* Provide daily (Monday–Friday) client updates and maintain consistent communication to ensure clear expectations and progress tracking

* Prepare and send biweekly and monthly reports and lookbooks to keep clients informed and engaged

* Maintain updated media trackers to record media coverage and interview status, providing valuable insights for future campaigns

The successful Account Executive will have achieved the following results:



* Meet or exceed the expected number of interviews or media features

* Clients receive timely and proactive communication on campaign progress, ensuring clear expectations and transparency

* Media placements align with client goals, increase brand visibility, and credibility, driving tangible results

* Clients recognize value from their engagement with our organization, leading to long-term partnerships and growth

* Accurate and updated documentation of all PR activities and client deliverables, facilitating seamless reporting and analysis





Requirements:


To excel in this role, the ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:



* 40 hours plus per week dedication to meet client needs and drive results

* Proven experience or education in public relations or a related communications field, demonstrating a strong foundation in industry best practices

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective collaboration and stakeholder management

* Strong organizational and time management abilities, ensuring seamless execution of multiple tasks and deadlines

* Proficient in Google Suite, Gmail, and media monitoring tools, leveraging technology to streamline processes and enhance efficiency

* Creative and strategic thinker with a proactive mindset, driving innovative solutions and forward-thinking approaches

* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote-first team environment, adapting to changing priorities and demands

* Personable and professional in client and media interactions, building strong relationships and delivering exceptional customer service

* Able to manage multiple accounts, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously, ensuring clear focus and prioritization

* High level of self-accountability and commitment to delivering results, driving personal and professional growth

Salary:


The starting salary for this position is $693/m USD.
