Job Opportunity: Senior Accounting Professional
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accounting Professional to join our team. As a key member of our accounting advisory group, you will provide technical accounting advice and support to clients across various industries.
This role is ideal for an individual with expertise in IFRS, US GAAP, and other international accounting frameworks. You should have strong knowledge of financial reporting, internal controls, and accounting policy implementations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide Technical Accounting Advice: Offer guidance on complex accounting matters, including IFRS and US GAAP conversions, financial statement preparation, and transaction analysis.
* Support Advisory Engagements: Assist in advisory engagements related to financial reporting, internal controls, and accounting policy implementations.
* Regulatory Compliance: Support CFOs, Controllers, and Finance teams with regulatory compliance, GAAP conversions, and implementation of new accounting standards.
* M&A Transactions: Conduct research on technical accounting issues and provide recommendations for best practices.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial reporting and accounting processes.
Qualifications & Experience:
* 7+ Years of Experience: Have at least 7 years of experience in accounting advisory, financial reporting, or external audit.
* Big Four or Global Advisory Firm Experience: Preferably have experience working with Big Four or global advisory firms.
* Strong Knowledge of Accounting Frameworks: Possess strong knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, and other international accounting frameworks.
* CPA or Equivalent Certification: Hold a CPA or equivalent certification (or be in progress).
* Multiple Industries Exposure: Have exposure to multiple industries (e.g., SaaS, manufacturing, retail, infrastructure).
* Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Demonstrate strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects.
* Excellent Communication and Client Management Skills: Exhibit excellent communication and client management skills.
* Bilingual Proficiency: Bilingual proficiency in Portuguese, Spanish, or English is a plus.
