We are seeking a highly organized and creative Creative Producer to manage and oversee the end-to-end production of high-quality audio content.
Role Overview
As a Creative Producer, you will play a key role in managing the end-to-end production process of audio content across various formats on Pocket FM. You will collaborate closely with writers, voice artists, creators, and production teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality episodes. The role requires strong operational management, creative oversight, and the ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders to deliver compelling audio experiences for our listeners.
Key Responsibilities
1. Post Production Operations Management
Oversee day-to-day post-production operations for ongoing audio shows and promotional adds, ensuring smooth workflows from raw audio to final delivery. Manage editing, sound design, mixing, and mastering pipelines to meet release schedules.
2. Post Production Team Coordination
Work closely with editors, sound designers, mixing engineers, and external post-production vendors to deliver high-quality audio content. Ensure clear briefs, efficient collaboration, and consistency across outputs.
3. Production Planning & Pipeline Management
Collaborate with content and production teams to plan post-production schedules, track weekly deliverables, and ensure timely completion of all episodes. Proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks in the pipeline.
4. Stakeholder Collaboration
Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Content, Marketing, Product, and Quality Control to align on timelines, creative requirements, and delivery standards.
5. Audio Quality & Finishing Oversight
Own the final quality of all audio outputs, including editing precision, sound design, mixing balance, mastering levels, and overall listening experience. Ensure all content meets defined technical and creative benchmarks before release.
6. Vendor & Partner Management
Build and manage a network of external studios, freelancers, and post-production partners to support scalable content production. Ensure quality, consistency, and timely delivery across partners.
7. Feedback Integration & Continuous Improvement
Monitor listener feedback and internal QC inputs to identify issues related to audio clarity, pacing, sound design, or technical quality. Drive improvements across post-production processes.
8. Process & Workflow Optimization
Continuously enhance post-production workflows, tools, and standards to improve efficiency, scalability, and output quality. Document best practices, templates, and guidelines for consistent execution.
9. Volume & Deadline Management
Manage high-volume content pipelines across multiple shows, ensuring all deadlines are met without compromising on audio quality or production standards.
10. Quality Control Training & Creative Alignment
Continuously train and support QC team members responsible for assigned shows to ensure strong alignment on creative direction, audio quality standards, storytelling expectations, and technical benchmarks. Work closely with QC specialists on a weekly basis to review content, calibrate feedback, identify recurring issues, and maintain consistency across shows and post-production outputs.
11. Internal Promotional Video Post-Production Leadership
Lead the internal post-production team for promotional video assets, aligning editors, sound designers, and mixers around consistent quality standards, sonic identity, creative style, and delivery expectations. Ensure all promotional videos maintain a cohesive audio language, polished sound design, and production value aligned with brand and marketing objectives.
12. AI-driven Innovations and tool adotion
Leverage AI-powered tools and emerging technologies across editing, sound design, voice processing, mixing, mastering, QC, and workflow automation to improve efficiency, scalability, and creative quality. Stay updated on evolving AI trends in post-production and evaluate new tools/workflows that enhance turnaround time, consistency, audio quality, and overall production effectiveness while maintaining strong creative and editorial standards.
Qualifications
* 7+ years of experience in post-production, audio production, or media production, with a strong focus on editing, sound design, and final delivery workflows.
* Solid understanding of audio storytelling and hands-on experience across post-production stages, including editing, mixing, mastering, and finishing for podcasts or audiobooks.
* Proven experience working with post-production teams such as editors, sound designers, mixing engineers, or external production vendors.
* Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple post-production pipelines and deadlines simultaneously.
* Effective stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience collaborating across content, production, and quality teams.
* Ability to operate in fast-paced, high-volume production environments while maintaining consistent quality standards.
* Self-driven with strong problem-solving capabilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving production challenges.
