Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned leader to take charge of our cafe team. As a senior barista, you will be responsible for creating an exceptional customer experience by sharing your passion and enthusiasm with every interaction.


Key Responsibilities:

* Model the cafe's service standards by delivering consistent, friendly, personal service and thoughtful recommendations.
* Ensure a vibrant atmosphere that welcomes all customers with a well-stocked bake case and neatly displayed merchandise.
* Understand customer needs and provide recommendations on improving cafe operations to deliver great service.
* Support positive sales results through efficient ordering and understanding the connections to operations and financial performance.
* Coach and provide feedback to fellow baristas, in partnership with the cafe manager, to identify areas of growth and help them understand the connection between results and service.
* Solve problems efficiently and correctly while supporting others by removing obstacles.
* Engage customers in the store by optimizing cafe sales initiatives such as sampling, register promotions, and the cafe mobile app.
* Assist with the completion of visual merchandising standards in partnership with the cafe manager.
* Ensure timely execution of operational standards, safety, and health codes.
* Protect company assets by executing loss prevention procedures accurately.
* Communicate collaboratively with the store team, upholding the values of the company through fair and consistent feedback and respectful accountability.


Requirements:

* Exhibit solid knowledge of cafe business and operations.
* Deliver excellent standards of service.
* Demonstrate good decision-making skills.
* Shift gears quickly, prioritize, and multi-task effectively.
* Direct work with productive results.
* Experience in training employees.
* Ability to organize, plan, and prioritize workload.
* Delegate tasks efficiently and work through others.
* Communicate effectively, collaboratively, and comfortably with colleagues.
* Provide honest and respectful feedback.
* Previous exemplary experience in a senior barista or barista role.
