About the Role
* We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes to support business growth and decision-making.
* Clean, validate, and structure raw data from various sources to ensure data quality and usability, and analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
* Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate key performance metrics to stakeholders, and work cross-functionally with teams to define data needs and solve business problems using data.
* Collaborate with engineering and product teams to understand and meet data requirements, develop data models and schemas for analytics and reporting, and monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines for performance and reliability.
* Support the design and implementation of a modern data warehouse architecture, ensuring data quality, governance, and security best practices are followed, and work with third-party APIs and internal tools to extract, transform, and load data.
* Demonstrate an entrepreneurial, self-starter attitude as the inaugural data analytics hire, driving innovation and growth within the organization.
Requirements
* Expertise in designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and ETL processes
* Strong understanding of data quality, governance, and security best practices
* Ability to clean, validate, and structure raw data from various sources
* Familiarity with data modeling and schema development for analytics and reporting
* Experience with data visualization tools and technologies
