Senior Workday Financials Consultant - You will work across multiple financial domains, handling both production support and project-based work, while partnering with Finance stakeholders to deliver scalable and reliable solutions.This role requires strong autonomy, problem-solving skills, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, lean team environment.What youll do- Provide hands-on configuration, support, and maintenance across multiple Workday Financials domains.- Act as a flexible utility player, supporting priority areas based on business needs.- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and system defects in a timely manner.- Design and implement scalable Workday Financials solutions aligned with long-term platform health.- Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into system configurations.- Support ongoing enhancements, optimizations, and process improvements within Workday Financials.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery of financial system changes.- Contribute to backlog reduction and improve responsiveness to Finance stakeholders.- Ensure solutions are well-designed, maintainable, and aligned with best practices.What youll need- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Workday Financials.- Strong understanding of end-to-end financial processes within Workday.- Experience supporting both production support and project-based implementations.- Ability to work independently in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.- Strong problem-solving and systems thinking skills.- Proven experience across multiple Financials domains, especially: Financial Accounting (top priority), Expenses, Business Assets, Banking & Settlement (secondary)- Experience with Workday Accounting Center and/or Prism is a plus.- Familiarity with Workday integrations and reporting is a plus.- Exposure to Workday Orchestrations or automation frameworks is a plus.- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage directly with business stakeholders.- Experience working in lean, high-performing teams with broad ownership responsibilities.
