The role of Strategic Business Developer entails fostering robust strategic business relationships with key industry stakeholders, encompassing software company decision-makers, M&A advisors, and private equity/venture capital professionals.
The primary objective is to source and identify current and future M&A opportunities for a prominent Canadian-based organization.
* Develop and manage an M&A pipeline through Salesforce CRM and create market maps to establish strong connections within designated software industry verticals.
* Meet and surpass monthly M&A targets, including meaningful contacts and other quantifiable M&A sourcing KPIs.
* Work independently and in conjunction with M&A leadership to efficiently qualify M&A opportunities.
