Commodities Asset Class Trader
We are seeking an experienced Commodities Asset Class Trader to support the validation process for onboarding Commodities and Equity Derivatives Trading desk.
This role involves working closely with a client team from project initiation to implementation, resolving daily issues on functional, valuation, and pricing aspects, as well as addressing issues stemming from the Commodities and Equity Derivatives desks.
Key tasks include:
* Amending pre-trade rules, eTradePad, and simulations
* Resolving requests or issues with Profit and Loss, Market Data, and booking
* Analyzing, formulating, proposing, developing, and contributing to overall solutions
* Liaising with technical teams to resolve issues and enhancements related to Commodities and Equity Derivatives
The successful candidate will also:
* Manage day-to-day assigned project tasks to complete various deliverables
* Resolve Yield Curve issues and validation, curve assignments, and new curve creation
* Continuously follow-up on new market regulations and practices globally
Required skills and experience include:
* Strong product knowledge in Commodities and Equity Derivatives
* Very strong understanding of Foreign Exchange, Interest Rate Derivatives business
* Very Strong understanding of Profit and Loss concepts and its components
* Very Strong understanding and hands-on experience in Market Data, Curve structure, Simulations, and Trade Life Cycle
* 5+ years experience with Murex functionalities
* 4+ years experience in financial markets roles
* SQL proficiency
* Strong personality, logical and analytical skills
* Be detailed-oriented, a quick learner, and self-starter
