Remote Software Engineer Position
This is a career opportunity to work as a Full-Stack Software Engineer with our partner company, which focuses on innovative digital media and storytelling solutions.
We are looking for an experienced engineer who can contribute to the development of high-performance applications using a range of technologies including GoLang, Angular, and GCP services.
The ideal candidate will have strong skills in backend engineering, API design, and cloud infrastructure management. Additionally, experience working in small teams and adapting to new technologies will be highly valued.
A key aspect of this role will be collaborating with the team to design and implement scalable systems that meet the needs of the business. This includes developing and maintaining core backend services, building intuitive user interfaces, and deploying applications on GCP.
To be successful in this position, you should have:
* 6-10 years of professional software development experience, preferably in a full-stack capacity;
* Strong proficiency with GoLang for developing performant microservices and APIs;
* Deep experiencewith Postgres, including advanced SQL, performance tuning, and database schema design;
* Proven experience with JavaScript frameworks and Typescript to build complex web applications;
and
* Experience designing, building, and consuming APIs, preferably with GraphQL.
Bonus points will be given to candidates with experience working in fast-paced environments, familiarity with AdTech or retail/CPG data environments, and hands-on experience with GCP services.
