Building risk applications and tools for an innovative international top-tier hedge fund from the ground up. This includes systems for traders, pre-trade checks and analysis, risks and limits management, reports of trading activities, FIX connectivity, and market data providers connectivity (e.g., Bloomberg B-pipe). The team focuses on developing and maintaining various database applications supporting risk management.
The successful candidate will have significant, proven experience in database design, PL/SQL development, and a good understanding of end-user and server-side data processing techniques. A solid grasp of SDLC and agile development methodologies is also required.
Responsibilities :
Developing business-friendly data models.
Migrating databases from SQL Server to Fabric and/or Azure.
Mandatory Skills Description :
Strong understanding of data modeling and data quality principles.
Experience with data architecture and data warehousing techniques, including migrating SQL to Fabric.
Proven experience in designing and developing data models using industry best practices.
Experience with code management and CI/CD tools such as Github, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Bamboo, etc.
Senior (10+ years) MS SQL Server developer/architect experience.
Over 10 years of experience working with ETL tools like SSIS, ADF, or similar.
Good understanding and experience with Power Query (M language) and DAX.
Management of Power BI datasets, workspaces, and security requirements. Familiarity with Power BI Premium, Power BI Rest APIs, Python, and Databricks is highly regarded.
Extensive experience designing and developing reports and performance metrics from complex, disparate platforms.
Nice-to-Have Skills Description :
Experience with Azure.
Business knowledge in trading domain or capital markets.
