Accounting Specialist Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Specialist to join our team. As an integral part of our organization, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring timely payments and collections, and preparing financial reports.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring prompt payments and collections
* Reconcile bank statements with internal financial records, identifying and resolving any discrepancies
* Prepare and analyze financial reports, including profit & loss statements and balance sheets
* Process payroll and maintain payroll records, ensuring accuracy and compliance
* Assist in tax preparation and ensure adherence to industry regulations
* Maintain digital financial documents and records, ensuring easy access and retrieval
* Collaborate with the accounting team and management to ensure financial accuracy and transparency
To succeed in this role, you must have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision. A degree in accounting or related field and less than 2 years of bookkeeping experience is required.
