Medical Document Retrieval Specialist Job Opportunity
We seek an experienced professional to perform a range of tasks related to medical document retrieval, including provider research and identification, request creation, quality control, and assignment. This role is ideal for someone with prior experience requesting health records from providers on behalf of healthcare companies or law firms.
Key Responsibilities
* Determine all relevant healthcare providers associated with a client's treatment by conducting thorough research.
* Locate billing providers and related entities using various tools and techniques.
* Input identified providers into the administration application.
1. Request Creation & Quality Control
o Review incoming Release of Information (ROI) forms for accuracy and completeness.
o Create accurate base forms before assembling final submission packets.
o Conduct thorough quality assurance checks for each ROI packet.
2. Request Assignment
o Assign requests to appropriate records team members based on workload and utilization metrics.
3. Handling Special Cases
o Identify and escalate provider-specific requirements to the Client Success Manager.
o Resolve missing or conflicting information by liaising directly with the case manager.
We require extreme attention to detail in this position, as errors can cause significant delays in retrieval. The ideal candidate will possess strong verbal and written communication skills, along with a proactive problem-solving mindset.
