What You’ll Do
Supervise third‑party contractors.
Manage non‑conformity for internal and supplier issues, improve incoming inspection processes, conduct supplier assessments (SSA) and periodic audits per EQMS, obtain credit notes and manage warranty processes with suppliers.
Manage quality alerts to 3rd‑party suppliers and Eaton companies, support a continuous improvement culture, and conduct root cause analysis and action planning for manufacturing process issues.
Support periodic process checks, PPAP, FMEA review and quality stock management.
Support the Operation Manager lead in cost‑of‑non‑conformance (CONC) management through scrap and rework analysis and continuous improvement, promoting a ZERO‑defect culture and maintaining robust manufacturing processes.
Essential Functions
Monitoring and technical support in the manufacturing process as a quality support.
Supplier audits and assessments.
Basic problem‑solving methodology (root cause analysis).
Approve new products with customers and control product approvals, including try‑out monitoring.
Supplier management processes: audits, assessments, PPAP evaluation, FMEA, critical‑to‑quality quotas and more.
Define priorities and find solutions for quality improvement, process and cost reduction.
Manage Material Review Board analysis to determine material for scrap, rework, warranty (supplier) or other improvement needs.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Relevant experience in manufacturing engineering, quality control, supplier management or other quality processes.
Technical knowledge in manufacturing processes, production, and systems application.
Apply statistical methods in capability studies to improve production process quality.
Ability to motivate, counsel, and constructively deal with people at all levels.
Knowledge of quality systems, Lean manufacturing and quality tools.
Trainer of people, leading the team to ethics and correct quality control activities.
Capable of sustained learning and continuous improvement.
Strong personal integrity, commitment to ethical behavior.
Ability to lead multiple and complex projects, relationships, and influence across organizational boundaries.
Leadership skills, drive for results, and adaptability.
Intermediate English level.
Desirable
Basic financial knowledge for capital planning, asset management, project management, budgeting, and profit planning.
Green or Black Belt certification.
ISO 9001:2015 internal or lead auditor.
