System Support SpecialistThe ideal candidate will have:Key ResponsibilitiesProviding level 1 and 2 support for production systems on Murex 3.1.Coordinating with business and IT stakeholders to gather, document, and verify requirements.Analyzing and making recommendations based on related Murex implementation experience.Following the client's software development lifecycle (SDLC) process and documentation requirements.Supporting audits and technology risk assessments.Developing and testing database and infrastructure changes.Performing technical reviews of production changes.Writing clear and concise documentation of issues and resolution within a collaboration tool.Maintaining and enhancing scheduling tools for intraday and end-of-day batches.Collaborating with business users across the bank to analyze and diagnose business-critical issues.Resolving issues related to risk, pricing, profit/loss, market data, market operations, end-of-day processing, interfaces, and reporting.Providing detailed information about issues to vendors and coordinating testing fixes/solutions.Acting as an intermediary between business and vendor teams.Debugging and enhancing bespoke Java processes supporting the Murex implementation.RequirementsStrong technical capability and a solid understanding of datamart concepts.Minimum 2 years experience with Murex in a support capacity, preferably with knowledge of configuration and development in various aspects including data mart, MXML pre-trade and post-trade workflows, RTBS, and MDCS.BenefitsOpportunity to work with a leading financial institution.Collaborative and dynamic work environment.Ongoing training and development opportunities.
