Human Services Faculty Position
This tenure-track faculty position is available in the Social and Behavioral Sciences Department.
The successful candidate will provide instruction in human services courses, including case management skills, counseling skills, and addiction treatment skills.
Additionally, they will act as coordinator of the Human Services program, providing orientation and supervision for students doing field internships, holding scheduled office hours, and participating in program review and curriculum development.
The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in counseling psychology, clinical psychology, psychology, sociology, or social welfare (e.g. MSW), or a Bachelor's degree in an accredited institution in one of these fields plus two years of full-time experience in the workplace.
A strong understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students is essential.
The hiring salary range will be dependent on education and experience.
