We are looking for a Senior Python / AI Engineer to join a global ML/AI team focused on building scalable, cloud‑native solutions using Machine Learning, Generative AI, and modern event‑driven architectures.This is a hybrid role based in São Paulo, working closely with international engineering, product and data science teams.What you will doDesign, implement and evolve Machine Learning and Generative AI solutions in production environments.Develop backend services and real‑time APIs using Python and event‑driven architectures.Build and deploy cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including Vertex AI.Work with model inference workflows, transformers and ML pipelines.Participate in solution design, architecture discussions and technical documentation.Collaborate closely with a lead engineer, product owner and data scientists.Drive end‑to‑end delivery with a high level of autonomy and ownership.Continuously research, experiment and apply emerging AI technologies.Requirements5+ years of experience in backend software development using Python.Strong experience with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform.Hands‑on experience with Machine Learning solutions and/or AI model deployment.Experience with event‑driven architectures, distributed systems and APIs.Solid understanding of the development‑to‑production lifecycle.Strong problem‑solving, communication and collaboration skills.Advanced or fluent English for daily interaction with global teams.Nice to haveExperience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and inference in production.Familiarity with Kubernetes, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run or similar technologies.Background in MLOps, AI platforms or real‑time data processing.Why this roleYou will be part of a team building real‑world AI solutions with global impact, working with modern cloud technologies and advanced machine learning practices in a collaborative, international environment.
