Join to apply for the Delivery Leader (Brazil) role at Delivery Associates
Overview:
Join Delivery Associates as a Delivery Leader and support us in delivering impact on the biggest issues facing society today - climate, education, health, innovation, and others - in partnership with governments, philanthropy, and non-profit partners in Latin America and the Caribbean.
Location:
Recife, Brazil (candidates should be based or be willing to reallocate to Recife for the rest of 2025).
Job Description
Delivery Associates work with leaders in the public sector and impact organizations to solve problems, build consensus, and implement policies and programs that impact millions of people. We use a clear methodology to solve problems and help our partners deliver results. We're successful in part because we master our approach and in part because we are empathetic, resourceful, level-headed, and dedicated to our clients and the people they serve.
As a Delivery Leader, you'll work with our partners (in government, in philanthropy, and at multilateral and nonprofit organizations). You are comfortable building and leading direct client relationships, drafting materials based on client needs and feedback from other DA team members, and being both proactive and reactive within a typical professional services client project context.
Skill Sets
We work closely in diverse, global teams, leaning on each other's strengths. We don't expect any one person to do all these things perfectly. Our Delivery Leaders should be able to:
* Build capacity on data use for decision-making: Support government partners to improve their data capacities and practices effectively.
* Build and lead relationships: Earn trust and influence among diverse stakeholders, especially in the public sector, philanthropy, or nonprofit world.
* Facilitate and coach: Run effective meetings and workshops that drive problem solving and consensus.
* Model and analyze data: Turn raw data into actionable insights and recommendations, through platforms like Excel or others.
* Write and present clearly: Convert complex problems or insights into clear documents and slides; speak clearly and concisely in remote and in-person settings.
* Prioritize and manage projects: Bring structure and planning to daily work and communication.
* Solve problems: Break down issues and identify root causes before developing hypotheses and solutions.
* Stay focused: Navigate complexity, especially in policy and program implementation, maintaining focus on priority outcomes.
Mindsets
We work well with people who are:
* Adaptable: Public sector work is dynamic. Our people are, too.
* Analytical: We identify, dissect, and solve complex problems, following the data and evidence.
* Accountable: We are a remote team. We work collaboratively but self-sufficiently; oversight is often minimal, while proactivity is essential.
* Driven: Our work is important, so it's important we do it well.
* Collaborative: We are flexible, thoughtful, and team players.
* Curious: We never stop learning from our clients, colleagues, and partners.
* Inclusive: We embrace all voices and backgrounds; it enriches our work.
Profile
Many of our people have backgrounds in government, philanthropy, think tanks, policy research, and non-profits. Some come from startups and tech. Our Delivery Leaders generally have 5-8 years of experience in other organizations and often have expertise in climate, education, health, or government innovation. We value skill set and mindset over specific backgrounds, as long as you are analytical, a clear communicator, a team player, and an eager learner.
Required Experience
These are the basics:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Master's is a plus.
* 5-8 years of relevant full-time experience in government, consulting, public policy, project management, or impact measurement.
* Business-level proficiency in English; Spanish is highly desirable.
* Expertise in data analysis and facilitating trainings/workshops to enhance data capacity.
* Experience with standard business tools (spreadsheets, presentations, etc.).
* Based in Recife for the rest of 2025; willingness to travel 25-40% and be accessible to an airport afterward.
* Must have work authorization in Brazil; no visa sponsorship available.
* Availability to start as early as June 2025.
What We Offer
* Impactful work on transformative projects with senior leaders.
* Excellent colleagues in a diverse, talent-rich environment.
* Growth opportunities in a continuously improving organization.
* Remote work flexibility with global collaboration.
* Comprehensive benefits: market salary, annual bonus, private medical insurance, generous PTO (including 40 days).
* Travel opportunities for team collaboration and community engagement.
