Our organization is seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Business Development Director.
This experienced executive will be responsible for cultivating and maintaining robust relationships with key clients, ensuring their needs are met, and driving business growth through strategic account planning and management.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Manage existing client accounts within assigned territories, focusing on sales growth and identifying new business opportunities.
* Develop and implement comprehensive account plans to achieve sales targets, foster account growth, and identify potential upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
* Acquire new key accounts within assigned territories through targeted outreach and relationship-building efforts.
* Conduct regular business reviews with clients to assess their needs, address concerns, and provide tailored solutions that meet their objectives.
* Identify and capitalize on revenue-generating opportunities within existing accounts through strategic pricing and product offerings.
* Prepare and present reports on account performance, sales forecasts, and market insights to inform business decisions.
* Collaborate with product development teams to gather feedback and insights from clients, contributing to the creation of innovative products and services.
Requirements and Qualifications:
* Proven track record of success in influencing and negotiating with clients to establish and maintain strong commercial relationships.
* Strong project management skills, with experience delivering results in an autonomous environment.
* Commercial acumen and industry knowledge, specifically in the travel and hospitality sectors.
* Proficiency in English and Portuguese as working languages, with fluency in Spanish being a plus.
