**Role Responsibilities**:
We are looking for an Executive Director to lead our regional payments initiatives in Latin America. This position will report directly to the Head of Latam Payments & Commerce Solutions.
**Responsibilities**
- Core and Emerging Payments strategy through end-to-end understanding of how the local markets work and regional value proposition
- Work on business cases with detailed analysis of the market, payment landscape, revenue opportunities and proposed solutions
- Execute our short, medium and long-term strategy for the Payments business in Latin America
- Work closely with Sales, Operations, Technology, Client Service and Implementation teams to deliver new solutions
- Develop commercialization and communication plans for new solutions
- Through creative thinking, leverage partner solutions, Fintechs and innovation, grow capabilities and footprint in country and in the region
- Understand how local legislation might impact our solutions and ensure they are taken into consideration as part of the strategy
- Understand the risks inherent to these solutions and drive programs to reduce them
**Experience**
- Robust experience in building and delivering payment solutions across multiple countries in Latin America
- Demonstrated ability for strategic thinking and influencing at all levels
- Intellectually curious with 'constant improvement' mindset and strong attention to detail
- Ability to quickly build strong partnerships, credibility and influence with technology, functional partners, and senior management
- Experience in managing and motivating teams from a diverse backgrounds and seniority
- Commercially minded individual with creative problem solving, capable of developing innovative and differentiated solutions
- Strong presentation and communication skills both with clients and internal partners
- Experience in working with vendors and Fintechs
