We are seeking highly skilled postdoctoral researchers to join our team and contribute to the development of innovative AI solutions for complex system optimization.
Job Description:
Our team focuses on leveraging advanced AI techniques such as reinforcement learning and large language models to improve decision-making in complex systems. The successful candidate will design, implement, and evaluate RL frameworks for high-dimensional environments, leveraging simulation-based optimization and digital-twin testbeds.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and implement RL frameworks for complex environments
* Evaluate the performance of RL algorithms using simulation-based optimization and digital-twin testbeds
* Collaborate with domain scientists to translate algorithms into prototype decision-support tools
* Develop and fine-tune LLM pipelines that integrate structured reasoning tools
* Build workflows for transparent explanation and evaluation of model decisions
Requirements:
* PhD (or equivalent) in computer science, applied mathematics, operations research, physics, statistics, or a related field
* Excellent Python skills and familiarity with modern ML stacks (e.g., PyTorch, JAX, Hugging Face)
* Ability to thrive in an interdisciplinary environment and communicate complex ideas clearly
Nice to Have:
* Experience with simulation-based optimization or digital-twin frameworks
* Familiarity with multi-agent RL or distributed training
* Experience integrating LLMs with structured reasoning tools (RAG, KGs, constraint solvers)
