Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
- Translate requirements into functional specifications, user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
- Use JIRA/Confluence to manage requirements, track progress, and maintain documentation.
- Partner with product owners, developers, testers, and project managers to ensure clear understanding of requirements.
- Perform gap analysis, impact analysis, and feasibility studies to support business decisions.
- Develop process flows, wireframes, and system interaction diagrams where applicable.
- Create and maintain technical and business documentation, including BRDs, FRDs, and user guides.
- Participate in backlog grooming, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups within Agile/Scrum teams.
- Support UAT planning and execution, ensuring requirements are tested and validated.
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for business processes and system functionality.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 7+ years of Business Analysis experience, preferably in IT/software development projects.
- Strong expertise in JIRA and Confluence for requirements management and tracking.
- Proven experience in business requirements gathering, functional documentation, and technical writing.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to translate complex business needs into clear, concise documentation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in workflow automation, system integration projects, or enterprise platforms.
- Familiarity with SQL or data analysis for requirement validation.
- Professional certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, or PMI-PBA.
