Job SummaryClient is seeking a senior-level Workday Adaptive Planning Consultant to lead the architecture, design, and build of complex planning solutions. This individual will be a hands-on consultant responsible for developing scalable planning models, supporting integrations across Adaptive Planning and Oracle platforms, and partnering with Finance, RevOps, Data, and IT teams to deliver business-critical planning capabilities. The ideal candidate will bring deep Adaptive Planning expertise, strong financial planning knowledge, and the ability to translate business requirements into high-impact system solutions.Key Responsibilities- Architect, design, and build scalable planning models in Workday Adaptive Planning- Develop and optimize complex models including dimensions, sheets, versions, assumptions, and driver-based logic- Design, support, and improve integrations and data workflows across Adaptive Planning and Oracle platforms- Partner with Finance, RevOps, Data, and IT teams to translate planning requirements into sustainable system solutions- Troubleshoot model and integration issues and improve overall system performance, scalability, and usability- Create clear documentation and provide knowledge transfer to support long-term ownership and adoption- Act as a senior consultant, owning delivery quality and supporting key stakeholder relationshipsRequired Qualifications- 5+ years of hands-on Workday Adaptive Planning experience- Proven experience architecting and building Adaptive Planning solutions, not just maintaining existing models- Deep expertise in:- Dimensions- Sheets- Versions- Assumptions- Driver-based planning logic- Complex calculations- Performance tuning and model optimization- Proven experience integrating Workday Adaptive Planning with Oracle EPM and/or Oracle ERP- Strong understanding of planning data structures, financial data flows, and integration best practices- Strong knowledge of financial planning and FP&A processes, including budgeting and forecasting- Ability to connect technical configuration decisions to business and financial outcomes- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex models to non-technical stakeholders- Experience working cross-functionally with Finance, RevOps, Data, and ITPreferred Qualifications- Experience supporting SaaS or recurring revenue business models- Experience leading or influencing Adaptive Planning best practices and standards- Background in multi-entity or high-growth organizations- Prior consulting or advisory experience in complex planning environmentsIdeal Candidate Profile- Senior, hands-on consultant comfortable owning solution delivery end to end- Strong technical builder with business-facing communication skills- Able to operate independently while partnering across multiple functional teams- Skilled at balancing architecture, execution, troubleshooting, and stakeholder management
