Senior Data Scientist Programmer
At ICON, we're seeking a skilled Senior Data Scientist Programmer to join our team of innovative professionals. This role presents an opportunity to leverage expertise in programming and data analysis to drive the advancement of clinical trials.
This position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, including data managers, project managers, clinical data scientists, and biostatisticians, to develop, validate, and maintain programming solutions for CDMS systems such as Rave/Veeva. Key responsibilities include creating custom reports, extracting data from CDMS, and performing data transfers.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in programming languages such as SAS, R, or Python, and a strong background in statistics, computer science, or life sciences. Additionally, they should have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities, ensuring seamless collaboration within fast-paced environments.
A key aspect of this role is staying up-to-date on advancements in programming languages and data management tools to enhance operational efficiencies. In this capacity, you will work closely with colleagues to support their growth and development, serving as a mentor and providing guidance on best practices, coding standards, and data quality control measures.

What We're Looking For
