Overview
In accordance with established policies, procedures and standards under the direction of a Human Resources Manager, Director of Human Resources and Executive Level, the HR Administrator is actively involved with day-to-day activities in the Human Resources Department, including employment administration, benefits, employee relations, relocation, expat administration, compensation, global performance appraisal, merit process, employee recognition programs, HRIS, expense reimbursement and invoice processing, and training and development.
What You Will Do
* Under the supervision and guidance of a Human Resources Manager, Human Resources Director and Executive Level, administers and communicates fundamental human resource concepts, policies, programs, practices and procedures to clients to ensure understanding of and compliance with HR requirements within the company.
* Provides various workforce reports for management review and analytical purposes such as divisional headcount reports, internal and external salary surveys and other HRIS reports upon request.
* Responsible for operating the hiring and termination of employees.
* Request and process vacation.
* Provide, forward, and supervise information sent to payroll.
* Assist with management of employee compensation, benefits plans and policies; may conduct related market surveys as needed or required.
* Interact with appropriate management staff to ensure that all company HR policies and procedures are adhered to, interpreted and complied with consistently.
* Act as a resource for special projects and HR programs, such as benefits enrollment, performance appraisals, and merit increases.
* Participate in the oversight of the performance appraisal/talent management process; respond to inquiries from managers and employees and seek resolutions to issues.
* Update or change HR policies and the policy manual; create, update or revise company position descriptions.
* Identify, suggest and encourage ongoing process improvements.
* Update employment and benefits forms to keep them current and in compliance with applicable legislation.
* Perform data entry for maintaining and updating employee records in the HRIS in a confidential manner.
* Respond to client needs with flexibility; may interact with a particular client group or department as the HR Representative or point of contact. Day-to-day activities may overlap with roles of a Senior HR Administrator or Generalist.
* Maintain professional competence to perform assigned responsibilities; participate in continuous improvement initiatives and other departmental tasks or projects as assigned by HR leadership.
* Manage Surveyors Medical Exam as assigned by the HR Business Partner.
What You Will Need
Education and Experience
* College degree or equivalent experience preferred.
* Two to five years of experience preferred in a similar role.
* Advanced English (must have).
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
* Familiarity with various PC software programs including MS Office; ability to learn new applications as needed.
* Strong organizational skills and excellent verbal and written English communications skills; proficiency in the local language.
* Ability to exercise sound judgment, set priorities, organize, implement and administer effectively in all areas of responsibility.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally at all levels and handle sensitive, confidential information.
* Working knowledge of ABS Health, Safety, Quality & Environmental Management System.
Reporting Relationships
The incumbent reports to a Manager, Director or Executive level position. This position does not have any direct reports.
