The Chevron Business Support Center (BASSC) located in Buenos Aires (Puerto Madero), Argentina, is accepting online applications for the position of Software Engineer ABAP Integration. Successful candidates will join the ERP Integration Team, part of a multifunction service center with over 1400 employees delivering global business services and solutions.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* APIs design and implementation across platforms and solutions
* Delivering complex, innovative solutions through all software development lifecycle phases following agile principles
* Developing software leveraging Chevron standards and collaborating on new standards and reusable components
* Working with teams and IT partners across locations for problem/requirements analysis
* Automation of use cases and incident resolution programming
* Supporting unit, functional, integration, and user acceptance testing, including defect resolution
* Creating technical documentation and conducting code quality reviews
* Designing, building, and configuring integrations to meet business needs, including cloud-based tools like SAP CPI, Groovy/JAVA scripting, and adapters such as JMS, JDBC, IDOC, RFC, REST, ABAP Proxies, and SOAP web services
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with Azure Cloud, Ansible, Jenkins, Azure DevOps
* Experience with SAP HANA
* Knowledge of adapters like JDBC, IDOC, RFC, REST, ABAP Proxies, SOAP web services
* Familiarity with other programming languages and platforms such as .Net, C#, JavaScript, Azure API Management, Azure DevOps, Ansible
* Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban/SAFe)
