Podcast Production Specialist
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to manage the full production workflow of our weekly interview podcast.
This role involves handling guest communication, scheduling interviews, and preparing episode briefs. It also requires coordinating with audio/video editors, reviewing episodes for editorial direction, and ensuring the final product meets brand standards.
The ideal candidate will have experience as a Podcast Producer, Manager or similar, with strong writing and communication skills. They will be able to work independently and collaboratively, managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
* Guest Communication: Manage all communication with guests from initial outreach to post-episode follow-up.
* Scheduling Interviews: Schedule interviews, send confirmations, reminders and provide prep materials.
* Episode Preparation: Prepare episode briefs and host prep sheets.
* Editorial Direction: Review raw audio/video and provide clear detailed edit notes to the editor.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage Guest Pipeline Schedules and Assets in Notion/Google Drive.
* Draft Guest Outreach Emails and Pitch New Guests Aligned with Upcoming Content Themes.
* Collaborate on Episode Titles Angles Hooks and Story Direction.
Requirements:
* 2+ years experience in Podcast Production, Management or similar.
* Experience working with audio/video editors.
* Strong writing and communication skills.
* Ability to review episodes and give editorial direction.
