StaffingAbroad is seeking a Principal Backend Engineer/Senior Software Engineer to join a leading FinTech & Crypto company.
This role is ideal for a highly skilled backend developer who excels in C#/.NET and has a strong focus on writing maintainable, scalable, and secure code.
You will play a key role in shaping architecture, ensuring system performance, and embedding best practices while working in a fast-paced and innovative environment.
What You Will Do:
* Develop and Maintain Applications: Build, enhance, and maintain secure, scalable backend services using C#/.NET and integrate with APIs like Plaid, Dwolla, and Treasury Prime.
* Shape System Architecture: Contribute to system design, ensuring performance, scalability, and security across FinTech applications.
* Write Quality Code: Implement and test maintainable, well-documented code, with a focus on automation and software best practices.
* Support Production Systems: Monitor and troubleshoot production applications to ensure high availability and quick issue resolution.
* Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with front-end, QA, product, and IT teams, while mentoring junior engineers.
* Focus on Security and Compliance: Embed security best practices and maintain compliance with FinTech regulations.
