The ideal candidate must have strong experience in contract administration, reviewing contract terms and conditions, and be familiar with procurement related to construction or heavy equipment, such as generators or air handling units. Experience with paralegal tasks or a legal support background will be considered a valuable asset.Key ResponsibilitiesWith the Procurement Manager’s assistance, prepare and maintain the project procurement plan.Review and assist in the preparation of Single Source Justifications.Review and assist in the preparation of Scope of Work documents.Establish Negotiation Plans and conduct or participate in negotiations.Manage the RFx process, including commercial evaluations and pre-bid meetings.Process change orders, RFIs, and submittals.Assist with, and where appropriate, implement new contract process controls.Communicate regularly with the home office regarding procurement matters.Produce and compile accurate reports for the project team, stakeholders, and clients.Identify and continually propose industry standards and process improvements.Conduct price analysis, modeling, purchase price cost analysis, and identify competitive benchmarks.Skills, Knowledge and Expertise5 to 10 years of experience in procurement and contract administration, including work on various projects with technology-based clients.Proficient in English; Spanish is a plus.Experience in construction is desired.Hands-on experience with data centers or mission-critical projects is required.Strong understanding of contract requirements and the preparation of RFx/RFI documents.Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships.Proven ability to establish and maintain successful supplier relationships.Experience with equipment purchasing and expediting is a mustEffective time management and organizational skills.Proficiency in various procurement methodologies and sourcing techniques.Ability to operate and execute effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and tight deadlines.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong influencing and persuasion abilities.Seniority levelSeniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionJob functionManagementIndustriesConstruction, Architecture and Planning, and Engineering ServicesReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at Soben by 2xSign in to set job alerts for “Construction Contracts Manager” roles.We’re unlocking community knowledge in a new way.
