Job Title: Shopify Solution ArchitectLocation: RemoteMode of Hire: ContractRole OverviewWe are seeking an experienced e-commerce Solution Architect to design, scale, and optimize modern digital commerce ecosystems. This role will be responsible for building secure, scalable, and high-performing architecture that supports enterprise-level eCommerce operations.The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Shopify and Adobe Magento, along with strong experience integrating complex systems across enterprise environments. You will work closely with engineering, product, marketing, and operations teams to ensure the eCommerce platform integrates seamlessly with core business systems and supports business growth.Key Responsibilities Design and implement scalable e-commerce architecture supporting enterprise digital commerce operations.Lead platform architecture and integration strategies for Shopify and Adobe Magento environments.Manage and optimize Shopify within a large, regulated enterprise environment, ensuring secure and reliable integrations.Architect integrations between TikTok Shop and Shopify, including catalog management, order processing, and fulfillment workflows.Oversee end-to-end e-commerce data flows including checkout, purchase orders, abandoned cart processes, and customer transactions.Design integrations with enterprise systems such as SAP, APIs, and analytics/data platforms.Ensure reliable data pipelines to analytics platforms such as Snowflake and other data warehouses.Collaborate with product, engineering, and marketing teams to align technical architecture with business objectives.Evaluate and implement digital experience tools that enhance customer engagement and conversion.Ensure best practices around security, performance, scalability, and system reliability across the commerce ecosystem.Required Qualifications 8+ years of experience in eCommerce architecture, platform engineering, or solution architecture roles.Strong experience with Shopify and Adobe Magento platforms in enterprise environments.Proven experience designing and managing complex system integrations using APIs and middleware.Experience integrating TikTok Shop with Shopify, including catalog, order, and fulfillment processes.Deep understanding of end-to-end eCommerce operations, including checkout flows, purchase orders, and abandoned cart workflows.Experience integrating eCommerce platforms with ERP systems such as SAP.Strong understanding of data architecture and analytics integrations, including Snowflake or similar platforms.Experience working within regulated enterprise environments with strong security and compliance requirements.Preferred QualificationsExperience with Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) and digital experience tools.Familiarity with marketing automation and engagement platforms such as: Yotpo, Simon, AttentiveExperience with SMS, email marketing platforms, and customer reviews tools within the eCommerce ecosystem.Strong understanding of modern composable commerce architecture.Experience working with cross-functional teams across engineering, product, and marketing.Key SkillseCommerce ArchitectureShopify & Magento Platform ExpertiseAPI & System IntegrationsEnterprise Data ArchitectureERP Integrations (SAP)Digital Experience PlatformsCloud & Scalable InfrastructureCross-functional Technical Leadership
