The Engineering team discovers, develops and evaluates new product ideas, enhancements, or strategic product extensions, and translates research discoveries into usable and marketable products. It leads, plans and tracks all phases of the product life cycle, from inception to introduction into the marketplace, coordinating with various functions to ensure successful product development and implementation.
This Role In Summary
We are looking for a Senior Quality Engineer to strengthen the robustness and accuracy of final performance testing for LAR projects, ensuring proper test coverage in accordance with internal and external failure requirements. The role focuses on expanding test coverage for washers, freestanding ranges, ovens, and cooktops, improving defect detection, and correlating internal metrics (FPY, quality audits) with field performance indicators.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
Improve and automate final performance testing systems.
Increase detection accuracy and robustness of test coverage.
Correlate internal quality data with external field indicators.
Identify gaps and implement corrective actions to reduce escapes.
Partner with Manufacturing, GPO, and Global Quality to align testing strategies.
Lead initiatives with new sensors, automation tools, and digital solutions.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Automation, Mechatronics, or related).
Solid experience in industrial automation applied to testing/quality or electrical systems.
Advanced English.
CREA.
Strong bias for action.
Preferred Skills And Experiences
Master’s degree or quality certifications (Six Sigma, FMEA, DOE).
Experience in home appliances or durable goods.
Knowledge of PLCs, instrumentation, sensors, and test automation.
Data analysis skills for quality and performance testing.

Additional Information
The position is located in Rio Claro, Brazil, approximately two hours from São Paulo, in a key industrial center of the state. This plant produces washing machines, stoves, ovens, cooktops, and also houses the Dish and Washing Machines Technology Center and the Finished Products Distribution Center.
