Scheduling Coordinator - Remote Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Scheduling Coordinator to join our team in a remote capacity. As a member of our scheduling department, you will be responsible for managing caregiver schedules, call-outs, and no-shows to ensure continuous client coverage.
About the Role:
You will work closely with our AI-enhanced platform, stepping in when human judgment and problem-solving are needed. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Managing caregiver schedules, call-outs, and no-shows
* Handling inbound (and some outbound) scheduling calls and texts from caregivers, clients, and agencies
* Using scheduling and EMR systems, including WellSky, AxisCare, ClearCare, or similar, plus client's proprietary platform
* Proactively identifying coverage gaps and resolving scheduling conflicts in real time
* Documenting updates accurately in the system to avoid missed calls or service disruptions
* Collaborating with teammates to ensure smooth handoffs across shifts and 24/7 coverage
* Providing feedback and suggestions to improve scheduling processes and the client's platform
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* 1–2+ years in U.S. healthcare operations, patient coordination, or provider support roles
* Proven experience speaking with physicians, clinic staff, or healthcare providers
* Familiarity with EMR/scheduling systems, such as WellSky, AxisCare, ClearCare
* Tech-savvy and quick to learn new platforms; comfortable working with AI-driven tools
* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve urgent scheduling conflicts
* Past experience working with U.S.-based teams in a fully remote role setup
