Bidding Manager

About the Job



Our client is implementing an ambitious strategic plan with three main objectives: (i) continuously strengthen the innovation pipeline, (ii) position the company as a modern, science-driven organization, and (iii) deliver the best possible outcomes for its customers.



In this context, the company has decided to evolve its commercial model, moving from country-specific business unit structures to a more standardized and consistent approach aimed at boosting efficiency. The strategy focuses on (i) prioritizing key markets and the most innovative products as primary growth drivers and (ii) adopting a cross-business unit efficiency model with an optimized country setup.



The Bidding Manager will be responsible for leading and coordinating the entire tendering process. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the company competes effectively in public sector markets, remains compliant with regulations, maximizes business opportunities, and optimizes financial outcomes.



About you



Key Responsibilities

* Manage the full tender process lifecycle, from identifying opportunities to submitting successful proposals.


* Collaborate with internal teams such as sales, marketing, legal, and finance to prepare and present competitive, financially viable proposals.


* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners, ensuring a clear understanding of their requirements and expectations.


* Conduct market and competitor analyses to guide pricing and positioning strategies in tender submissions.


* Ensure compliance with all relevant internal policies and external regulations throughout the tender process.


* Negotiate contractual terms and conditions with clients to maximize value for the company.


* Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure timely, accurate, and complete delivery of proposals.



Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration, or any related field,


* MBA preferred.


* Pharma industry experience (preferred)


* Adapt to different tender requirements and procedures across different markets and sectors.


* Maintain competitiveness in highly contested tenders, identifying differentiated and value-added strategies.


* Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners, ensuring a clear understanding of client needs and expectations in each tender.



Technical Competencies

* Customer Orientation: Motivate teams to connect with patients/customers to understand their needs and provide value-added solutions.


* Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.


* Strong business acumen with speed and flawless execution


* Building trusting relationships across ecosystem with high levels of business partnering and influencing /stakeholder management skills.


* Coach direct reports, leveraging their strengths and consolidating a high-performance environment.


* Compliance: Respects corporate commitment and compliance guidelines.


* Fluent in English and Portuguese.
