Key Account Pricing Specialist
We are a growing freight brokerage and transportation company specializing in time-sensitive, temperature-controlled, and high-touch shipments across the U.S.
We work with shippers in industries such as medical, artwork, hazmat, and white-glove services. Our ideal Key Account Pricing Specialist will own our day-to-day quoting and pricing strategy, helping us win profitable freight while maintaining strong carrier relationships.
The role requires identifying opportunities to increase revenue through competitive pricing and developing innovative solutions to improve our market position.
* Prepare spot quotes for truckload, LTL, reefer, flatbed, and specialty shipments based on customer RFQs/RFPs and internal data analysis.
* Analyze historical data to set target margins and identify areas for cost reduction.
* Maintain and update pricing matrices, lane guides, and rate tables to ensure accurate and up-to-date pricing information.
Additionally, you will:
* Monitor daily market conditions and adjust pricing strategies accordingly.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement pricing initiatives that drive business growth.
* Recommend pricing strategies for new lanes, customers, and verticals to expand our market reach.
Requirements
* 3-5+ years of pricing experience in a freight brokerage or 3PL environment.
* Strong English communication skills and ability to build effective relationships with carriers, shippers, and internal stakeholders.
* Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills and ability to analyze complex data sets.
