Enterprise Data Integration and Analytics Lead
We seek an experienced professional to design, develop and lead the delivery of high-quality data integration and analytics solutions in enterprise environments. This role requires deep expertise in performance tuning and data integration, combined with strong leadership and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ongoing optimization of query and database performance to meet strict service-level agreements (SLA). The ideal candidate will be able to analyze execution plans and recommend indexing, partitioning, and optimization strategies.
* Analyzing and optimizing complex SQL queries for optimal performance.
* Partnering with Database Administrators (DBAs) to validate and implement tuning recommendations.
* Overseeing ETL/ELT workflows ensuring scalability, efficiency, and data quality.
* Leveraging cloud services such as AWS S3 Redshift Glue Lambda DMS for ingestion, transformation, and storage.
* Leading and mentoring a team to foster technical excellence and continuous improvement.
* Communicating technical decisions effectively to both technical and business stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* 7+ years of experience in data engineering within large-scale environments.
* Expertise in performance tuning including query optimization, execution plans, indexes, partitioning, and parallelism.
* Hands-on experience writing and optimizing complex SQL queries.
* Expertise in Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).
* Experience in data warehouse design, ETL/ELT processes, and data modeling.
* Proven leadership experience including team mentoring and technical guidance.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with DBAs, technical teams, and business stakeholders.
* Fluent in English.
