Job Description:
Ensure full compliance with Brazilian construction safety laws, regulations, standards, and Group company HSE policies across the project. Oversee implementation and monitor HSE performance on site.
Develop, implement, and continuously improve the project HSE management system, including safety rules, procedures, risk control plans, emergency response plans, and other technical HSE documentation.
Lead supervision and inspection of safe construction processes, occupational health, and safety management system operations.
Organize and conduct regular and ad-hoc safety and civil construction inspections; provide corrective actions and track their implementation to ensure effectiveness.
Maintain, organize, and update all HSE documentation required by Brazilian law, including Health and Safety Management Plan (HSMP), Environmental Management Plan (EMP), and Emergency Response Plan.
Provide HSE guidance and training to project teams, contractors, and subcontractors to foster a strong safety culture.
Report HSE performance to senior management, identify risks, and recommend mitigation measures.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or above, no specific major required; deep knowledge of Brazilian HSE laws and regulations.
Minimum 5 years of experience in wind power or renewable energy projects, with proven HSE management experience. Knowledge of electrical safety and engineering safety standards preferred.
Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills; excellent communication and coordination abilities.
Fluent in English; Portuguese proficiency highly desirable.
Strong sense of responsibility, accountability, and proactive approach to safety management.
