Key Account Management Role
The successful Key Account Manager will be responsible for overseeing the success of client public relations campaigns by crafting and implementing strategic media plans, conducting targeted outreach, and maintaining regular communication with both clients and media contacts.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute customized PR strategies tailored to each client's unique needs
* Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring seamless communication and exceptional service
* Build, grow, and maintain strong client relationships through proactive engagement and timely follow-up
* Conduct thorough media research and build and update targeted media lists to optimize campaign effectiveness
* Identify and secure relevant media opportunities, filter and respond promptly, and schedule and coordinate media interviews
* Confirm placements and coverage timelines with media contacts, and monitor coverage through Google Alerts
* Collaborate with the team to facilitate writing projects that align with client goals and deliverables
* Stay up-to-date on industry news trends and identify timely angles for client exposure
* Provide regular client updates and maintain consistent communication throughout the week
* Prepare and send biweekly and monthly reports and lookbooks to keep clients informed
* Maintain accurate media trackers to record media coverage and interview status
Requirements:
* Proven experience or education in public relations or a related field
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt to diverse client needs
* Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple accounts and deadlines
* Proficiency in Google Suite, Gmail, and media monitoring tools
* A creative and strategic thinker with a proactive mindset, able to navigate complex client relationships
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote-first environment, with excellent self-accountability and commitment to delivering results
