As Técnico Automação II, you will have the following main responsibilities:
* Perform all delegated activities in the automation specialty, with maximum excellence added to the performance of the same, including: hardware and software inspections, diagnostics of SDCD's and industrial networks, hardware substitutions, software installations, configurations, preventive chronological and conditional, and forwarding of equipment for external repairs.
* Analyze and specify software for the purchase process.
* Collect data in the field and equipment requirements to open an improvement project for later viability analysis.
* Define the architecture, interfaces, and functionalities of automation systems.
* Dimension equipment and components.
* Develop programs for microcontrollers and microprocessors.
* Research and evaluate available technologies on the market.
* Guide the installation of automated systems and equipment.
* Install and configure supervision systems for automated process sets.
* Verify the operation of system components.
* Develop programs for industrial controllers.
* Create process flows for routine and mathematical control tools.
* Evaluate system and equipment performance, identifying operational failures.
* Provide technical training.
* Develop new procedures and work routines, aiming to dynamize processes and add better results.
* Provide technical support to field instrumentation teams.
* Record all activities performed after their completion.
* Monitor performance indicators, aiming to improve individual and team performance.
* In corrective emergency service, act effectively, minimizing the consequences of equipment failures, with the objective of reducing production losses, quality losses, and operational discontinuity.
* Attend the emergency plant, if requested.
* Act as an interface in the client's technical areas, on matters related to the automation specialty.
We expect you to have the following technical skills:
* Instrumentation: diagnosis of equipment interfaces with automation systems (SDCD's), in addition to acting as technical support for area teams.
* Analytics: basic knowledge of equipment application analytics, sufficient for diagnosis and equipment interfaces in the process.
* Configuration of systems (DCS Valmet).
* Address changes (DCS Valmet).
* Diagnosis (DCS Valmet).
* Card and terminal changes (DCS Valmet).
* Tuning of loops (DCS Valmet).
* Instrument configuration via SDCD (DCS Valmet).
* Intermediate knowledge for maintenance of PI systems, network topologies, Unix Operating System, Windows NT.
* Interpretation of Loop Diagrams, Flowcharts, and Interlocks.
* Knowledge of SAP and PI.
* Technical English - basic level.
* Vibration damping and isolation.
We expect you to have the following education:
* Technical course in Control and Automation, Mechatronics, Electricity, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Electrical Engineering.
* Industry experience.
* Experience in the continuous process segment, preferably paper and cellulose.
The following experiences or skills are desirable but not mandatory:
* Higher education in Engineering/Technology (Control and Automation, Mechatronics, and Electricity) or Computer Science.
