You'll be responsible for hiring, training, and developing Managing Editors who operate within pod structures alongside Account Managers to deliver exceptional AI-powered content at scale.This is a strategic role focused primarily on talent development and editorial excellence. You'll establish the editorial standards, training programs, and quality frameworks that ensure our content consistently exceeds what unassisted LLMs can produce, while building the team that will scale our content operations from dozens to hundreds of clients.For this role, we ask that you're available Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM PST.What You'll DoBuild and scale the editorial team:Hire, onboard, and train ~30 Managing Editors across our Client Delivery OrganizationDevelop comprehensive training programs for new Managing Editors on AI workflows, editorial standards, and quality processesCreate hiring rubrics, interview processes, and assessment criteria to identify top editorial talentBuild ongoing training modules to continuously upskill Managing Editors on new AI tooling capabilities and workflow improvementsPartner with Account Managers to ensure Managing Editors are effectively integrated into pod structuresEstablish editorial excellence standards:Update and maintain the editorial standards that differentiate GrowthX work product from generic AI outputCreate and update quality rubrics, style guides, and voice frameworks that Managing Editors can consistently applyDevelop feedback loops between content performance and editorial trainingEnsure all content meets or exceeds client quality expectationsChampion editorial judgment as a core competency across the organizationShape AI-powered content systems:Write and refine prompts and context documents that improve AI output qualityIdentify patterns across the organization to develop reusable workflow componentsPartner with technical teams to implement systematic improvements to content pipelinesDocument best practices for prompt engineering and context optimizationHow You'll WorkThis role operates within an organization where Managing Editors are embedded in pods alongside Account Managers.
