About the Opportunity
Join us as we seek a highly skilled Senior Applied Scientist (AI/ML – Pricing) to lead our machine learning initiatives. In this role, you will play a key part in developing and deploying innovative pricing solutions using cutting-edge technologies.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of machine learning principles, algorithms, and techniques. They should also have expertise in building, deploying, and managing machine learning models in production environments at scale. A strong background in data engineering, cloud technologies, and Python programming is essential. Additionally, experience with big data tools and MLOps pipelines would be a significant advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and deploy machine learning models for retail pricing
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven solutions
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Design and implement data pipelines using big data tools and cloud technologies
• Ensure high-quality model performance and scalability
• Lead and mentor junior team members to achieve team goals
Requirements
• PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, Operation Research, or related field
• 5+ years of industry experience in applied machine learning and deep learning
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and scientific libraries such as NumPy and pandas
• Strong data engineering skills and experience working with large-scale datasets
• Experience with big data tools such as Apache Beam, Apache Kafka, and Spark
• Familiarity with cloud technologies AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Fluency in English and excellent communication skills
