Your role and responsibilities As a Senior Lawyer focused in Public Sector, you will play a strategic role in advising and supporting complex legal matters involving government entities, state-owned companies, and regulatory authorities. You will act as a trusted legal partner to the business and internal stakeholders, contributing to high-impact decisions that shape public policies, large-scale projects, relevant deals and regulatory strategies. Your responsibilities will include: * Providing strategic legal advice on public law matters, including administrative law, regulatory law, public procurement, concessions, PPPs, and government contracts; * Leading the legal structuring, negotiation, and execution of contracts with public entities at federal, state, and municipal levels; * Managing matters involving public authorities, courts of accounts, regulatory agencies, and public prosecutors * Monitoring and interpreting legislative and regulatory developments, assessing risks and opportunities for the business * Supporting compliance, ethics, and integrity programs related to public sector interactions * Contributing to the development of best legal practices within the team Required technical and professional expertise * Law degree from a recognized Brazilian university. * Active OAB registration. * Minimum of 8-10 years of professional experience in public sector law. * Solid background in administrative law and public contracts and deep knowledge of Brazilian administrative law, public. procurement (Law nº14.133/2021), Law nº 13.303/2016, concessions, and PPP frameworks. * Experience with government bidding processes, contract drafting and negotiation, amendments, and dispute resolution. * Familiarity with regulatory agencies and sector-specific regulations. * Strong experience in legal opinions, memos and strategic advisory. * Ability to translate complex legal issues into clear, business-oriented recommendations. * Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, complex environment. * High ethical standards, sound judgment, and a collaborative mindset. * Fluency in Portuguese and English (written and spoken). Preferred technical and professional experience * Experience in highly regulated industries (specially technology). * Previous experience in a large law firm or multinational company. * Postgraduate degree or specialization in Public Law, Administrative Law, or Regulatory Law.
